York Wholesale Meats is a privately owned, family run business.  Our family is York born and bred and we have considerable experience at all levels of butchery which sets us apart from other wholesalers and mass producers.  We serve our customers, new and old, with wholesale prices using our knowledge, training and extensive links within the trade.  This allows us to be prepare your order, and give you the quality produce, exactly how you like at wholesale prices.

Here at York Wholesale Meats, we strive for excellence and continue to source top quality products for the best price to ensure great savings. This doesn't stop at our customer service either, we have an in-house team ready to answer your questions or assist with the ordering process.

We deliver nationwide using DPD for those further afield postcodes and our own fleet of vans for those deliveries closer to home. Items are vacuum packed to prolong freshness whilst in transit and securely packaged in a cardboard box. For those customers who place an order and it is shipped using DPD, they contact you to confirm the order has been collected and then with a message confirming your 1 hour time slot for delivery. For those York based orders, select your preferred date for delivery or collection if you'd prefer and we will process accordingly!

How To Order

Firstly, browse our products and their options using the category tabs at the top of the page or the search bar. Choose your quantities and select the products options, whether it be weight or a specific marinade and add them to your basket.

Review your basket and make sure you are happy with its contents. Follow the checkout process and opt into either collection from our unit in York or delivery. Shipping costs are calculated once your delivery address has been input. Select a day you would like us to arrange delivery/collection of your order. Please note that the information you enter here must be the same as that associated with your method of payment. For example, you must use the correct billing address. To ensure that your order is properly processed, please enter a valid email address and phone number.

Finalise your order and await our confirmation email that will list the items purchased and the date you have opted for, for delivery* or collection. Let us do the rest!
*DPD customers will receive a confirmation email and a follow up email once the order has been collected from our unit to confirm the date of delivery as well as a text message the morning the parcel is scheduled to be delivered to confirm a one hour time slot.

Received my box on Tuesday. Box was nice and chilled and very well packed. Had two of the sirloin steaks for tea, they were amazing! Had some of the garlic butter chicken on Wednesday, and the Turkey and stuffing sausages last night and both meals were really good. We'll definitely order more!

I was lucky enough to win the latest competition and had my prize of sirloin steaks and pork loin delivered last weekend. The quality is amazing and everything's so fresh. We had a delivery of the pork loin today and we were so impressed from the onset. We live in York so delivery was free. The meat was packaged perfectly in a sturdy box and was thoroughly chilled. We cut it all into loin steaks and cooked some today while fresh. A mazing……!!

Had a good few orders now all the way to Scotland meat service and delivery is amazing never had a problem with anything made steak pie with the diced beef I got last week I must say its the best steak pie I've ever had amazing and just cooked the fillet I got as well first class best I had so I will be keeping up my order every couple of weeks thanks again for the amazing deals on the meat keep up the good work lads next order going in soon. We had a dressed boneless turkey crown delivered on the 21st December read for Christmas Day as well as some pigs in blankets and luxury stuffing balls.

Ordered the silver meat pack for Xmas was so impressed the Turkey was delicious the beef was amazing even managed to get some steak cut off the sirloin beef for another day. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the team at York Wholesale Meats! We've had our Christmas package dropped off (which looks fantastic). I'd mentioned when ordering that I was gluten free & asked to swap out the sausages and the stuffing for chicken & mince. When the package arrived this morning the stuffing had been swapped out but I'd received sausages so I gave the number a quick call to check if this was right, & within 10 mins the delivery driver had popped back to take the sausages away & will be bringing me chicken tomorrow. As a team, you've gone out of your way to make sure that the very minor problem was solved & so quickly too! I am really impressed with the service & the kindness received. The meat looks GORGEOUS & we'll definitely be ordering again soon. Highly recommended.

Cheap, tasty meat- would like to know more about the minimum welfare of the meat. I asked and they could just say the Beef was Irish and the pork is from Hull. Usually butchers are proud to tell your their welfare standards.

We've now had 2 lots of meat from here, we visited the shop where we took advantage of the fab labelled deals and we've also just had a family feast pack delivered (we thought we'd be waiting 5/6days but we were very lucky and had the meat delivered 2 days later).

The guy who delivered the meat was very friendly, just like the butcher's in the shop and they were also very helpful. The shop also felt very safe and had the usual COVID19 measures in place.

The meat is so tasty and I'm so glad we have changed from our usual supermarket meat to York Wholesale meats.

Due to a problem with my oesophagus /choking I haven't been able to eat red meat for many years, my mum however recommended I give your meat a try so yesterday I made my first visit for some stewing steak which I cooked in my slow cooker with vegetables and I am so pleased to tell u it just melted in my mouth and tasted delicious. I've bought from here a number of times and have never been let down any time. The quality of the meat is great regardless of what type you buy, nice thick cuts as well for big appetites. You can really taste the difference compared to supermarkets and it's much better value. I eat a strict low-carb diet so need plenty of good quality meat regardless of cost so great to feel you get value for money too! I normally go to the shop itself but tried the delivery facility this time and was very happy with both, everyone is always really helpful and friendly regardless of how busy they are. Keep up the good work guys!

I've bought meat from this place on several occasions. Some of the best quality meats I've had in a long time and their prices are extremely competitive. I bought 2 full sirloin for 60, Amazing tender meat for a good price. Met the owner Danny and he's a great lad, educating me through each of the meat: it wasn't over there after I bought it, I had to cook it and taste the quality for myself. Top notch. I would recommend this butcher to anyone. It's liked in York, however they do a good service and offer great price!
